Optris developed a mobile measuring system for thermal material analysis in order to
increase the accuracy of infrared contactless temperature measurement.

The optris CTtrans is a combination of a miniaturized infrared radiator and one optris CT sensor -
the compact infrared temperature sensing mini-head. Industrial thermal processes, like
thermoforming processes of thin plastic materials, require the information of the emissivity and
transmissivity of the measuring objects.

Optris designed a mobile system for the thermal analysis of transmissivity, reflexivity and
emissivity of material surfaces in transmitting or reflecting processes for emissivities between
0,5 and 1,000. This system consists of an optris CT sensor and infrared radiation modules.
The results will be directly and online transferred to the infrared sensor in order to correct the
temperature measurement of surfaces with changing emissivities and transmissivities.

Insignificant will be, whether these changes result from changes of the manufactured product or because of changing product types. Significant is the fact, that the previously required and time-consuming adjustment during the manufacturing process will not be necessary.

The analysis kit comes as a complete unit in an exclusive transportation bag. That way it is applicable immediately on site.
