Optris adds a new portable infrared thermometer to the optrisŪ MiniSight-series:
the optrisŪ MiniSight takes temperatures from -32 up to 420 °C.

The infrared thermometers optrisŪ MiniSight and MiniSightPlus combine latest industry design with outstanding technical features. The angled shape guarantees a simultaneous view of measuring ob-ject and display. A rugged casing, an easy handling with a weight of 150 g, only, and the attractive appearance make these thermometers suitable instruments for both professional users in industrial applications and amateurs in everyday life. A combination of high-class precision glass optics with latest infrared technology provides the user with a new performance quality, which is unprecedented in this price segment.

The keys allow an easy operation: The thermometers of the optrisŪ MiniSight-series are activated by simply pressing the trigger - the laser helps to aim at the target and the temperature is shown in the backlit display with high accuracy. The outstanding optical features support a distance-to-spotsize-ratio of 20:1. Thus the thermometers enable the user to measure objects as small as 13 mm in any distance less than 140 mm. A time constant of 0.3 seconds supports a fast temperature scanning.

The optrisŪ MiniSightPlus - for temperatures between -32 and 530 °C - distinguishes itself in further features like a precise adjustable emissivity even after the measurement was taken, hold-function and offset adjustability, thus allowing an optimal operation in manifold applications. The user is able to quickly detect hot or cold spots by reading the minimum and maximum temperature results and setting a high and low alarm value.
